Christmas Appreciation Dinner

We love the annual tradition of the Angeles Mission to invite Stake and District Presidents and their wives to an appreciation dinner.  The dinner is hosted in the Mission Home for about 40 people.  Even with a threatening typhoon in the area, most of our Presidents and wives were able to attend.

We not only had a delicious meal, but we were entertained by 14 very talented missionaries.  Their music stirred our souls and was a great reason to celebrate the Christ child. They also took their talents to carol to a couple that lives near our home. We sufficiently served them dessert when they returned.

It was wonderful to host the senior church leaders in our area.  We work regularly with these men and women and have grown to love and respect them for their great abilities and significant sacrifice.  In typical Filipino fashion, they serve with joy and great dedication.  We look forward to our summer party in July (when the temperature will be 87 instead of 86 degrees).  Hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill!
