Six Strong and Faithful

Our second group of departing missionaries left on Wednesday, September 23rd to return home.  This group was much smaller than the first:  Six tried, true, well-worn missionaries.  Spending their last few days with us was a real treat.  It turns out, this was a musically inclined group of missionaries and Christmas music filled the air in the mission home.  I even caught President Clark singing Christmas songs in September!  What fun.  We will miss these valiant servants and can't wait to hear what lies ahead for them.

The Naegles - Teachers of Career-Self Reliance Workshop  They are service missionaries working in the Self-Reliance Program for Angeles and Olongapo Missions.  It is a beautifully inspired program for people in the Philippines to overcome poverty and build self-reliance.  One of the self-reliance videos is filmed in the Philippines.  It is a powerful message of Pure and Simple Faith.
