Three Words....

If you have read through this blog, you will know that one of the most difficult things we must do is saying goodbye to our departing missionaries.  They have served well and it is time but that doesn't make the final goodbye any easier.

We had 23 departing missionaries on November 4th.  The only thing that made this allowable is that the next day we welcomed 25 new missionaries.

There is a book that was created where the missionaries leave their contact information.  The missionaries were asked to write "Three Words" that summed up their mission experience... "One.Eternal.Round," "Preparation For Future," "An Unforgettable Experience."  It is too bad that the other 2 batches that returned earlier didn't have the opportunity to do this. The Naegle's did a great job of teaching the Career Workshop, We ate lots of meals together and ended Monday night with Family Home Evening.

Tuesday was our last instruction from President Clark and myself on L.A.M. (Life After Mission). We had three families join us for our luncheon and testimony meeting.  It is always a spiritual boost to hear the faithful words of these "changed forever" missionaries.

Remember, we love you!

 Family Home Evening!
Great message with an incredible object lesson
Look at the weight those flimsy plastic cups can hold when reinforced properly.  No suit coats were too small but some were too big!

We are not ready to let them all go but will share one last piece of advice.

Oh the bags!

Elder Stenquist reunited with his parents.  It was a joyful reunion.

Final testimonies and lots of love was shared.  Our Assistants have kept us calm and organized.  What would we do without them?
