Our 15th Incoming Batch

What an interesting Batch we received the end of March.  We welcomed 29 missionaries!  We have missionaries short-term missionaries with us for one transfer.  These missionaries have their papers in and they help us for one transfer until they receive their mission calls.  The other full-time missionaries are coming from the islands, a few from America, and three Filipino missionaries who will stay here until they receive visa's to go to other missions in the US and Guam.  We also received five missionaries who are coming from India and awaiting VISA's to return to India.  Lots of bags, lots of excitement, lots of nerves as they begin their journey in the Philippines Angeles Mission.  WELCOME Elders and Sisters who will go forth with faith!

Turn Heavenward Always

THIS BATCH!  Five Sisters and six Elders have faithfully fulfilled their commission as a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  They are a batch of smiles, selfies, some crawling and some sprinting to the finish line.  They are all appreciated by Angeles Missionaries as one of many who have served where the finest serve!   I look at each of the departing  names for some time before they leave.  One night I was driving home and there was the largest, fullest and brightest moon up in the sky.  When I turned and it was out of sight, I wanted to find it and follow it.  I continued to search for it when it was not in sight.  I had to turn heavenward to find it.  I then knew that these were the three words that so beautifully fit this batch.  "Turn Heavenward Always."  As we seek our Heavenly Father through fervent, sincere prayer and earnest, dedicated scripture study, our testimonies will remain strong and deeply rooted.  You will know you never need to walk alone.  Our hope for this batch is that they will always have the peace and spirit of serenity of knowing and turning heavenward always in prayer and devotion to our Savior and Redeemer.

Here are the before and after pictures of our newest departing 15th batch we have seen return with honor.  Continue to go and do great things!  Tandaan mo, mahal namin kayo!

These are our India Visa Waiters who arrived over 6 months ago.  They received their VISA's and will be returning to India.  We will miss them but are fortunate to have served with them for a season of their mission lives.  Farewell dear Elders!
